In the fall out of a superhero and villain battle, an every day man lost his family in a fight they had no part in. For 23 years he has plotted his cold hard revenge to bring Earth's greatest hero to his knees.

SuperDead was born from the lack of responsibility from Superheroes in our modern cinema. I was always curious what effects they had on the ‘average Joe’ - then came the idea of a Superhero having to answer to the little guy for his consequences. Although a hero, people died as a result of his actions. Who does earth’s mightiest hero have to answer to?

Made on a micro budget of just £2500 ($3150) along with contra deals from the majority of the crew, we made this short over 2 nights in November 2018. The script was developed back in 2015 and had no less than 10 drafts before I felt comfortable to film it.

SuperDead was also very important to me on a regional basis. 97% of the cast and crew were from the West Midlands area. The whole film was also shot in Birmingham, UK.

SuperDead was written to explore the consequences of a Superhero’s glory.
